MaxLight Z Daters have a massive ink load, thus eliminating the need for replacement pads. Re-ink and reduce the need for replacement pads forever. The printing plate is encased in a die plate that detaches easily. Simply pull it away from the frame and replace it when the text changes. Due to the chemical make-up of the date band, the dater can not be recycled. However, the ease of re-inking and use of interchangeable die plates enable the MaxLight Z Daters to be re-used indefinitely.
